Kenya Mobile Money & Agent Network Intelligence | Power BI

Kenya's mobile-money agent network processed approximately KSh 722.5 billion monthly in 2025, yet average agent commissions fell to ~KSh 112,244 annually as the network expanded, raising an important question: how profitable is the agent network, where is it performing well, and where is it facing financial or operational risk?

To answer this, I built an end-to-end analytics pipeline covering data modelling, synthetic data engineering, analysis, and business intelligence. Using Python and SQL, I designed and populated the analytical database, applied DAX for business metrics, and developed an interactive Power BI dashboard to uncover profitability, performance, geographic, and operational insights.

The project was managed with Git for version control, with findings translated into actionable insights through professional report writing.

Sales Trend Analysis

HR Analytics Dashboard | Tableau Business Intelligence Project

Developed an interactive Human Resources Analytics Dashboard in Tableau to analyze workforce demographics, employee attrition, performance, compensation, attendance, and recruitment trends. Data was generated using Python and Faker, then cleaned and transformed in Jupyter Notebook using Pandas and NumPy. The dashboard features KPI cards, interactive visualizations, and filters that provide actionable insights to support data-driven HR decision-making.

Retail Sales & Profit Management System | Python, Streamlit & SQLite

Developed a real-time retail sales and inventory management system for small businesses using Python, Streamlit, and SQLite. The application enables sales tracking, profit analysis, inventory management, transaction processing, and business performance reporting through an interactive dashboard. The project utilized Streamlit for the user interface, SQLite for data storage, Pandas for data processing and reporting, and Python for business logic and system automation.

End-to-End dbt & Databricks Data Engineering Project | Modern Analytics Engineering Pipeline

Developed an end-to-end analytics engineering pipeline using dbt Core and Databricks, implementing the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) to transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready models. The project involved ingesting multiple datasets into Databricks, performing modular SQL transformations with Jinja, building reusable dbt macros, implementing data quality tests, seeds, and snapshots for historical tracking, and managing the complete development lifecycle using Git, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Python, and uv. The project was structured following modern data engineering best practices and prepared for CI/CD deployment.
